curating memorable event experiences that surprise & delight
After studying entrepreneurship and marketing at Baylor University, Natalie returned to sweet home Chicago where she launched her career in branding and communications research with Hall & Partners. At H&P, Natalie honed her project management skills, juggling timelines, budgets, and multiple vendors with ease.
With a passion for Arts Education, Natalie served as the Events Chair for the Urban Gateways Associate Board, helping secure sponsors and orchestrate details for multiple fundraising events during her two year tenure. Natalie also relished the year she spent interning for the wonderful ladies of Forth Chicago, as it provided an opportunity to aid in planning small, intentional quarterly gatherings for a community of creative female entrepreneurs. With Forth she played a role in social media management by fostering conversations and connections on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. She also developed digital content for the Forth blog by interviewing community members and writing original posts.
Natalie then joined the team at Greenhouse Loft as their Social Events Manager, where became clear that her innate strengths & personality traits shined when working in the event industry. An internship with South Social & Home brought exposure to wedding planning, event production, styling, and interior design. Through all of these experiences, Natalie formed an effortless, well-rounded approach to event planning. Pairing her confident style with logistical mastery and instinctive eye for details and design allowed her to quickly grown into the role of Senior Event Producer at South Social & Home. Equipped with her growing knowledge and expertise, Natalie began taking on freelance wedding clients, planning multiple weddings across Illinois and Indiana.
In May of 2014, Natalie and her sister Andrea combined their respective strengths in event planning and yoga teaching to launch Yoga+, an interactive workshop series that paired vinyasa yoga classes with interactive and educational components taught by local artists and makers. The concept quickly caught on and they were proud to host 30+ sold-out workshops in 2.5 years. Through these unique experiences, the sisters created a community of eager learners and city explorers. In 2015, Natalie joined the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant family as an integral member of the team brought in to manage events and food & beverage sales at their first private event venue, Ivy Room at Tree Studios. At Ivy Room, she had the pleasure of partnering with a wide variety of corporate, social and wedding clients to create unique and special events.
At the end of 2017, Natalie embarked on global travels that would bring her to explore England, The Netherlands, Denmark, New Zealand, and ultimately Australia, settling in Sydney. In March of 2018, she joined the team at Jess Lively as a planner & co-producer for the first Cschool Live experience in Sydney and is currently collaborating with the team behind the scenes for a September 2018 Cschool Online launch.
Often found hiking in national parks, practicing yoga, browsing art galleries, exploring new neighborhoods, or in search of the best negroni, she enjoys drinking natural wine, eating vegetables, and chooses to treat each day as a new adventure.
Natalie is a joyful collaborator, always bringing her creative eye, organized thought process, and energetic spirit to every occasion. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are interested in connecting or working together.
