It was an absolute privilege being taught tantric hatha yoga by Nat. She brings deep-seated warmth, light and steadiness to her teaching and transmits this to her students. While practicing under her guidance I felt completely held, safe and inspired and left class with a renewed sense of calm paired beautifully with an uplifting feeling of joy. Nat’s commitment to the path is tangible and this is guaranteed to inspire her students to fall even more in love with yoga, and to deepen into practices that ultimately serve the world by helping each of us to evolve. I recommend Nat without reservation. She has the biggest, warmest heart, profound respect for the tradition and her own teachers, a thirst for ongoing learning, a deep understanding and embodiment of the tradition and a desire to be of service. Her classes will change your life! - Holi
Traditional Hatha Yoga may get a bad rap these days, but honest to god I believe Natalie will be a huge part of changing your views on traditional yoga forever. She commands the room with a gentle power that makes you want to push yourself but also feel comfortable knowing you have her caring and watchful eyes on you. You’ll consistently find yourself lost in very carefully sequenced poses, breathing techniques and meditations that leave you feeling balanced and energized. If you want to expand on your yoga journey and take things past flowing through down dog, I highly recommend learning from Natalie! - Jaclyn
I'm forever grateful for the experience to work with yoga+ Chicago as it was a true pleasure right from the beginning. Not only are Natalie and Andrea highly skilled and talented but they are also passionate about their work and working with unique and passionate entrepreneurs in Chicago. I was honored to work and collaborate with them. The best part of the entire event was the people they attract to attend the yoga+ events. I meet some truly phenomenal individuals and it was a true testament to the character of the Pavela sisters. They are such genuine, kind, talented, compassionate, positive, hard working and devoted women who are making a huge difference in the Chicago community. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with both of you and share my passions with the Chicago community. I can't wait to see the other amazing things Yoga+ Chicago is going to do. Namaste.
- Katie Henry, Owner of Starting Smart Wellness
Partnering with Natalie and Andrea was nothing short of a breeze and a pleasure. Their enthusiasm for collaboration and introducing new skills to local Chicagoans was contagious - I felt fully supported as an artist, and that they were equally as excited about learning about what I do as they were to introduce it to their workshop participants. I look forward to watching their company grow as they offer more and more opportunities for partnership and learning to a great city!

From the first conversation I had with Andrea and Natalie, it felt like we were old friends. They bring an element of love and gratitude to the work they do, and are so genuine in their pursuit of helping others learn new things. The Lynn Sage Foundation was honored to be the first charity partner of a Yoga+ class, where we spent time discussing our mission to end breast cancer through research, practiced yoga, learned all about wine, and made wonderful new friends. Andrea and Natalie could not have been more professional, organized, or fun to work with - it was an unforgettable experience that we are truly grateful for!
- Kristi Perry Cox, Marketing & Operations Coordinator, The Lynn Sage Foundation
Yoga+ is a truly special operation. The Pavela sisters bring warmth and professionalism to the table in equal measure, and the opportunity to have Yoga+ workshop attendees as a captive audience in our space was entirely worthwhile. Plus, the conversations that ensued from our event were nothing short of enlightening. We gained a new customer base, learned a great deal about one another's personal health journeys, and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you, Yoga+!
- Rose Trusedale, Business Development Manager, Owen + Alchemy
Partnering with the Pavela sisters of Yoga+ pays off — not just from a business aspect, but on a personal level, as both Natalie and Andrea convey their passion and professionalism in equal parts. Yoga+ is well-organized, fluid, and fun. It helped introduce my acupuncture + herbalism practice to a new audience in a supportive atmosphere, healthful to both the mind and body, in one multi-experiential event.
- Giselle Wasfie, L.Ac., REMIX Acupuncture + Integrative Health
At Penrose, we strive to provide our customers with a closer connection to the beer they drink, and equally important–a unique and memorable experience to share with others. It's the shared vision of providing experiences that are as dynamic as they are fun which made our partnership with Yoga+ so perfect. The Pavela sisters brought our mantra of practicing equal parts art and science to life by hosting a private Yoga session in our oak barrel cellar, and their ability to gain the interest of inquisitive, adventurous minds for their events made our afternoon brewery tour and luncheon unforgettable. You won't find a more personable, positive or professional team out there to bring a creative collaboration to life than Natalie and Andrea. Cheers!
- Rob Brennan, Brewery Ambassador, Penrose Brewing Company
I so enjoyed the workshop, it seemed like it was a giant success. Everyone was so enthusiastic and I had a blast watching them create their arrangements and answering their questions. It was a very invigorating and creative experience for me. I was also extremely impressed with how Natalie & Andrea ran the event from beginning to end - the marketing, the collaboration, food and beverage spread, the ambiance - all of it went beyond my expectations. And the yoga class was refreshing and just challenging enough to get a good workout in. It's so wonderful to create the relaxed, positive atmosphere through yoga and then seamlessly merge into an interactive workshop. Well done, ladies!
- Beth Barnett, Floral Designer & Owner of Larkspur
It was certainly a pleasure partnering with Yoga+. Not only do the Pavela sisters bring such a creative spin to their yoga sessions, but they bring the best attitude! We are always looking for ways to introduce people to our brand and our space. Yoga+ paired yoga, food, and entertainment into a really nice experience for our guests. I'm looking forward to having them back soon and, hopefully, participating in their future events!
- Kelsey Brown, Manager of Recruiting, Trunk Club
Having an event hosted in my photography studio was such a joy with the Yoga+ ladies! From the beginning of planning they were very communicative and happy to work with any guidelines I had for the space and time. The event itself was so well executed and it was wonderful to have the kind of people that come to these events in my space. Really great people and such a great network to be part of! Thanks for bringing it to me Natalie and Andrea!
- Devron Enarson, Photographer at Dev Photography and Co-Founder of Paper Doll Club
By partnering with Yoga+, we were able to create an unimagined experience for our customer. The yoga session invigorated her (has exercise ever been so fun?) and the resulting energy created a fantastic environment within our store. Natalie and Andrea create a refreshing and powerful partnership and I look forward to watching their community grow and inspire.
- Anna Nelson, Display Coordinator, Anthropologie
It was a pleasure to serve as a host venue for such a creative, engaging, fun & practical event. However, it may have been even more of a treat to work with such upbeat, thoughtful, communicative & prepared organizers as the Yoga+ ladies. I'm excited to follow along as Yoga+ grows, and look forward to the possibility of collaborating again in the future!

We have told all of our friends who are getting married that Natalie was, hands down, the best money we spent during the wedding planning process. Working with her as our day-of coordinator allowed us to be actively involved in planning the wedding we envisioned while also benefiting from her many years of experience in event planning, relationships with Chicago area vendors, current and creative eye for event design, and most notably the sense of calm and polish she brought to our wedding day. We received countless compliments from family and friends on how warm and professional Natalie was to work with, and having her there on our wedding day allowed us to step back, hand over last minute logistics, and enjoy our wedding knowing that she was behind the scenes. From choosing a hotel for our out of town family to stay in that fit our event - the Freehand! - to finding a way to elevate our kegged Old Fashioned cocktails - Luxardo cherries! - to a decoration that could double as a keepsake - a neon sign! - her ideas were fresh and totally in line with who we were, the feel of our event, and our budget. We cannot overstate the value of having her on your team or what an absolute pleasure it was to work with Natalie as our wedding coordinator.
- Maria & Rob, married October 2016
You will not regret working with Natalie! My mom and I are big planners and didn’t think we needed a wedding coordinator — instead just day-of help — but Natalie proved herself time and time again as an invaluable resource in the weeks leading up to our big day. Natalie goes above and beyond and anticipated all of our needs. She is exceptionally organized and made sure every aspect of our wedding weekend went smoothly. I highly recommend Natalie!
- Jamie & Andrew, married November 2016
There are simply no words to describe the incredible force that is Natalie Pavela.
We still cannot believe how lucky we were to work with Natalie in planning and coordinating our wedding in June, 2016. Her grace is unparalleled, and a powerful mechanism in inspiring our team to create a truly extraordinary day. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement; the true testament to her expertise is how she brought everyone together to go above and beyond.
She immediately understood what mattered to us and was our biggest cheerleader.
The rave reviews we received from our guests blew us away, but by far the most persistent was a glowing endorsement for “our planner”. We heard stories upon stories in the days that followed about how incredibly lovely Natalie was. How she made everyone feel important and taken care of.
But personally, her impact was extraordinary. I felt truly joyful in her presence as her energy radiated. It felt like having a dear friend coordinate our wedding, from small personal touches to all the behind the scenes magic.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude thinking about the service she provided and would recommend her with every ounce of endorsement possible. She is truly something magical. Thank you, Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
- Katie & Joel, married June 2016
When newly engaged brides to be ask me advice on throwing a perfect bash the first thing I recommend is to hire a planner. Then I hand out Natalie's information. Natalie was a charm to work with as our planner and just made the day go by seamlessly. She made a point to introduce herself to our entire wedding party and all of our vendors. She handled all the delivery of checks and instructions to the vendors so that my family, my groom, and I were able to just enjoy the day. She was relaxed and calm, while maintaining a professionalism throughout the entire event. There were of course things that came up the day of our event that we didn't anticipate, but Natalie solved them before I even knew they were issues. Natalie and I met over formal wedding emails and I now consider her a lifelong friend.
- Jenny & Geoff, married July 2015
Natalie was wonderful leading up to the wedding - easy to contact, prompt and thorough in her responses - but even so, we couldn't imagine how organized, soothing, kind and friendly she would be day-of our wedding. It's one thing to be good at your job and quite another to have an innate sense of how to make someone feel comfortable, appreciated and attended to on their wedding day. If you need a wedding planner who makes sure you eat something so you don't faint at your wedding and also totally charms your parents, we could not recommend Natalie highly enough.
- Cameron & Rhea, married December 2015
Natalie was the day of coordinator for our wedding last September and we can honestly say, she was one of the best investments we made in all of our wedding preparation. From the beginning, our budget was tight, so we questioned whether or not to spend the extra money to have someone help manage the day of - thank God we did. To save money, we ironed all of our own linens, assembled our centerpieces, washed all of our dinner plates, and didn't really seem to consider, until further down the line, how we would transport all of these things to the venue. When we met with Natalie the month before our wedding day, she was all over it. She was consistently reassuring and had the most incredibly positive and productive attitude towards everything we threw at her. She helped deliver centerpieces to/from the venue, alleviated any stress associated with other vendors, was extremely communicative and encouraging, and was incredible at working with our guests. My parents called her the best decision we ever made and they were spot on. We only wish we could plan another big event just to have an excuse to hang out with her more! Thanks for everything, Natalie - our wedding could not have been the beautiful dream that it was without your help.
- Allie & Drew, married September 2015
I can’t express enough just how fantastic it was to work with Natalie! She was prompt replying to emails in the months and days leading up to the wedding we worked on together. Her communication was top notch, friendly and informed. On the day of the wedding Natalie was there to answer all my questions, helped me expedite posed family photos, and went above and beyond to take care of me and my second shooter. I really appreciated her willingness to step in and help make sure everything the couple wanted was taken care of, from pictures to other requests. She was attentive, sweet, fun to work with and made me feel like we were a team working together to give our clients the best possible day ever! I hope we have the chance to work together again in the future.

I was the photographer on a wedding coordinated by Natalie and it was a WONDERFUL experience. As a photographer, the most important thing I can ask for is having relaxed clients who are enjoying their day because they know every detail is being looked after. Natalie did a wonderful job which made my job a pleasure. She’s organized, considerate and exceptionally kind. From making sure the clients and their parents were all taken care of, to making sure that myself and the video team was ready for everything that was happening that day it felt like nothing escaped her attention. I wish we could work together every week. Book her… and once you have her, book me. ;-)
- Nick Gerber, Photographer at Gerber + Scarpelli Photography
Whenever I see that Natalie is the wedding coordinator at a wedding I'm shooting, I instantly breathe a sign of relief. Weddings are hectic and stressful enough, and there is room for a lot to go wrong. I can honestly say that the handful of weddings I've worked with Natalie on, everything has gone wonderfully and smoothly (even when we are dealing with three inches of mud in an outdoor wedding during a thunderstorm). She remains calm and navigates every situation with complete and total care and confidence. Also, she's NEVER in my shots which I find a lot of wedding planners and coordinators are, and it's really refreshing not to have to worry about that with her. Also, she's incredibly personable and likable. She has a wonderful network in Chicago and seems to know everyone and everyone seems to know and love her. I am one of those lucky folks!
- Stephanie Bassos, Photographer
I always enjoy working with Natalie on events. She is organized, thorough and has a great eye for the details as well as the big picture. In addition, she is just a wonderful and fun person to be around, which makes any event with her a blast.
